Thursday field trip to the National Heirloom Festival in Santa Rosa!! Loads and loads of fun. Got to see the world’s largest mobile beehive, tried some amazing produce, sampled from delicious food stands, hung out with animals and listened to a speaker talk about “Farm to table” philosophy. It was great fun and I even got to carpool with my teacher who has a convertible! YEE!! Afterward I stayed at school to assist Master Chef Adam Busby for his Blade Master Food Enthusiast program. It was sooo much fun to learn from a master and to help students in the class. Didn’t get home past 11 but it was still a great experience and I can’t wait to assist in another one of his classes. :)
