Leisurely Saturday morning. Cooked brunch this morning! Made a frittata with zucchini, onions, mushrooms, olives and chives and I pan roasted rosemary potatoes and made two salads. It was a most excellent brunch to be shared with my love and my mommy. Then Chris and I cleaned the kitchen then lounged around the house for the afternoon before bringing his painting to be mailed to Hawaii for an art show. More lounging around followed with snacking on leftover pizza. Finally we decided to go to Oktoberfest, didn’t find it, got embarrassed that we couldn’t find it, went to Walmart to purchase our own “Oktoberfest” and went home. Fried up some franks (since we couldn’t find any bratwurst), toasted some buns, opened some hefeweizens, grilled some onions and went to town. Perfect way to end a lazy Saturday :)
